Temple Books & Bindery

Temple Rare Books, which is a division of Temple Bookbinders, is based within the bindery building at Stephen Road, and is run by Conor Pattenden. It is open between 10am and 5pm weekdays, any other times by appointment.

Current stock numbers about a thousand volumes, predominantly antiquarian, with particular strengths in fine bindings, theology, children’s, illustrated, classics, and poetry books. We also have smaller sections of private press, topography, literature and travel books, with new stock being added every week.
